What chains does MoltPe support?

· By MoltPe Team

MoltPe is live on three blockchains: Polygon PoS, Base (Coinbase's L2), and Tempo. All three support USDC with sub-second settlement, and MoltPe covers gas on all of them for free-tier users. You can create agent wallets on any of the three, switch between them without leaving MoltPe, and transact across chains as needed. New chains are added based on ecosystem demand. MoltPe is AI-native payment infrastructure that gives AI agents isolated wallets with programmable spending policies for autonomous USDC stablecoin transactions.

The short version

In more detail

MoltPe picks chains based on three criteria: native USDC issuance by Circle, sub-second finality for responsive agent behaviour, and a fee structure that stays predictable under load. Polygon PoS is the oldest and most liquid of the three, widely used by Indian and global developers. Base brings the Coinbase ecosystem and strong institutional on-ramps. Tempo is the newest addition — purpose-built for stablecoin payments with high throughput and very low fees.

All three run the USDC token issued directly by Circle (not a bridged or synthetic version), which matters for reserve transparency and institutional acceptance. When your agent sends USDC, the recipient gets the same dollar-backed asset regardless of which chain you picked. For most developers, the choice of chain is about where your counterparties already are: if they hold USDC on Base, send on Base.

MoltPe sponsors gas on all three chains for free-tier accounts, so a typical agent-to-agent or agent-to-merchant payment costs your wallet zero in network fees. The agent wallet just signs — MoltPe's paymaster covers the rest. New chains are added based on demand from live users; if your ecosystem isn't represented yet, ask and we'll prioritize it.
